Ferrari Enzo is one of those very special cars in the history of automotive that every one will talk about it with great respect forever. Not only it is a Ferrari, it’s named after the founder of the company, which for petrolheads is the equivalent of the Pope!
Tuning such a car is really a tall order, because if you manage to get the performance parameters right, it is very important not to mess with its swell styling. Fortunately, Edo Competition is so professional to get both right!
With this car Edo kinda wants to make their own version of the FXX racer. They call it the Edo Ferrari Enzo XX Evolution. Apparently they got a bit carried away during the process of making this car, because they have cracked the limits of the FXX!
The Evolution XX has 840 horsepower and 780 nm of torque! That’s an increase of 180 hp over the standard. To achieve this, they had to drill the V12 engine again and bump the displacement from 6.0 liter to 6.3 liter.
Then they install new camshafts, new titanium valve spring retainers and connecting rods, modified cylinder heads, new high performance exhaust headers, high flow catalytic converters, mufflers and air filters. That is how deep this surgery has been!
But that is not the end of it! Further adjustments has decreased the weight of the Enzo by 100 kg. So you better don’t ask about its performance! because it’s so scary! Ferrari Enzo XX Evolution accelerates from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds, 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.0 seconds and 300 km/h in just 19 seconds. The top speed exceeds 390 km/h (242 mph).
The car comes with an aerodynamic kit to keep it on the ground at high speed. It includes a complete exhaust system with tips machined from billet aluminum, newly developed rear skirt featuring winglets and a rear wing profile, adjustable in 3 steps and also a new retractable rear wing.
This kit really changes the back view of the car. And to complete that Edo has replaced the taillights with LEDs.
